Metro Cinema Brand Personality

A night at the movies has always been pretty much the same - a few hundred strangers crowded together in a big dark room. Metro Cinema turns this 100 year-old model on its head based on the insight that movies are more fun when you are surrounded by friends. With its private cinema suites, Metro creates an upscale moviegoing experience for the young metropolitan demographic - an experience that can't be duplicated at home.

In traditional chain theaters (AMC, Regal, Cinemark), customers are treated like cattle, walk across sticky floors, sit next to noisy strangers using their phones during the movie, and eat low quality and incredibly overpriced snacks, all to watch a movie they can probably see at home on their favorite streaming service.
